Meeting at OIC Chamber, 24th April 2002

This meeting was themed 'Broadband in Orkney' and featured PowerPoint presentations from Steven Heddle (Orkney Enterprise, e-business adviser), Jim Buchan (Scottish Executive, project manager for Highlands and Islands Pathfinder project) and Stuart Robertson (Highlands and Islands Enterprise, senior telecoms development manager), which are available for download below:

Steven Heddle- Introduction, agenda, and presentation covering Shetland fibre optic cable project, existing telecoms infrastructure, drivers and issues for broadband in Orkney.

Jim Buchan- Presentation on Pathfinder project, for broadband demand stimulation via aggregated procurement of bandwidth by public sector in the Highlands and Islands.
